To Make Balti Passanda
- Cut the Meat or Vege alternative into strips.
- In a large Bowl or Dish add 4 tbs of Natural Low Fat Yoghurt and the contents of Sachet 1 then mix thoroughly.
- Next, add the Meat or Vege alternative.
- Cover with Cling Film and refrigerate (ideally overnight).
- Next, chop the Onions and Green Peppers into chunky pieces.
- Heat the Oil in a Wok or Non Stick Pan then add the Onions and Peppers cook gently until soft.
- Add the contents of Sachet 2 to the Wok or Pan and stir fry for 2 mins then add the chopped Tomatoes (mash them first to create a smoother sauce).
- Into the Pan add the marinade mixture along with 200 ml of Water.
- Stir thoroughly and cook on a medium heat until the Meat/Vege alternative is fully cooked stirring often.
- Next, add the 4 tbs of Single Cream and stir (If the sauce becomes too thick add more Water).
- Add finely chopped Fresh Coriander Leaves and serve.
- Tastes great with our Spicy Rice.
